Cat Muscles - biceps brachii

The probe is pointing to biceps brachii.

Description of biceps brachii - is a large spindle-shaped muscle (i.e. tapers at both ends) that can be seen when the epitrochlearis flap (cut) is retracted (pulled back). The biceps brachii muscle's location is superior to the triceps brachii muscle on the humerus of the cat. This muscle is more prominent in humans, but its origin, insertion point, and function/action are very similar in humans.

Function of biceps brachii - flexes forearm.
