The probe is pointing to rectus abdominis, which is a long and fairly wide BAND of muscle that runs along the midline of the body on the abdominal surface of the cat (or human). In this specimen, the rectus abdominis muscle is very white and prominent.
Fun fact: rectus abdominis is the muscle that very physically fit people/body builders develop into a "6 pack".
